Our Story

Experience, Vision, and Community at Heart

The trustees of the New Zealand Rescue Charitable Trust together bring more than 50 years of combined experience in the charitable sector—most of it forged within the health industry. Over that time, we have witnessed first-hand the challenges and shortfalls faced by communities across New Zealand: critical services stretched too thin, families waiting too long for support, and vital initiatives left unfunded. These gaps affect not just individuals, but the strength and wellbeing of our communities as a whole.

NZ Rescue was established in early 2024 with one purpose in mind: to use our experience to help fill those gaps. Drawing on decades of knowledge, we are committed to building new pathways for community support—ones that are practical, sustainable, and most importantly, impactful.

But we are not simply repeating what has been done before. We are pioneering innovative new infrastructure, together with new ways to fundraise, creating fresh opportunities for New Zealanders to engage with philanthropy and charitable purpose. Whether through charitable promotions, community-driven projects, or creative campaigns that give back, our goal is to make giving accessible, exciting, and deeply rewarding.

At NZ Rescue, we believe that supporting our communities should never feel out of reach. Every initiative we champion is designed to strengthen health, education, and/or sporting initiatives across New Zealand—delivering both immediate impact and long-term resilience.
