The draw will be conducted by random selection, under police supervision. Winners will be announced following the draw.
This is a sales promotion conducted in accordance with New Zealand lottery regulations under the Gambling Act.
1. Promoter
The Promoter of this promotion is NZ Rescue Charitable Trust (the “Promoter”), Charities Registration: CC63226, of PO Box 26673, Epsom, Auckland 1344, New Zealand. This promotion is conducted in accordance with the Gambling Act 2003 and the Gambling (Lottery) Game Rules 2004.
2. Promotion Period
The “Key to Communities” Promotion (the “Promotion”) opens at 12:00am on Friday 6 March 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 31 May 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
3. Eligibility
3.1 Entry is open to individuals who:
- Are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry; and
- Are legally permitted to enter a promotional lottery under New Zealand law.
3.2 The following persons are ineligible to enter:
- Trustees, employees, contractors, and volunteers of the Promoter;
- Immediate family members of the above (spouse, partner, parent, child, sibling);
- Any person directly involved in the administration of the Promotion.
3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility.
4. How to Enter
4.1 Entry into the Promotion is obtained through qualifying purchases made during the Promotion Period.
4.2 Each qualifying purchase generates the number of entries specified at the point of sale.
4.3 An order confirmation number, emailed at the point of sale, will be assigned to the qualifying promotion entries, and serves as proof of entry. No numbered tickets will be issued.
4.4 The total number of entries available in this Promotion is strictly capped at 20,000 entries. Once this cap is reached, no further entries will be issued.
4.5 If the maximum number of entries (20,000) is reached prior to the scheduled closing date, the Promotion will close immediately. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to bring the draw date forward. Notice of any change will be published via the Promoter’s website and social media channels.
4.6 Entries are not transferable, refundable, or exchangeable.
5. Refunds, Payment Failures & Chargebacks
5.1 Entries are only valid once full payment has been received and cleared.
5.2 If a purchase is refunded, reversed, cancelled, or subject to a chargeback for any reason, all associated entries are automatically void.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who initiates a payment dispute or chargeback in relation to a qualifying purchase.
6. Prize Draw
6.1 The prize draw will take place at 3:00pm on Friday 5 June 2026 at Matamata Panelworks, 34 Rockford Street, Matamata, New Zealand.
6.2 Winners will be determined by random selection from all qualifying entries.
6.3 The draw will be conducted under Police supervision in accordance with Rule 6(14) of the Gambling (Lottery) Game Rules 2004.
6.4 The results will be published via the Promoter’s website and social media channels by 8:00pm on the day of the draw.
7. Prize Conditions
7.1 Prize values are stated in NZD and are recommended retail prices at the time of publication.
7.2 The Promoter will cover standard on-road costs, registration, and WOF (where applicable) at the time of prize transfer.
7.3 Ongoing costs including insurance, fuel, storage, maintenance, and licensing are the sole responsibility of the winner.
7.4 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
7.5 If a prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value.
8. Winner Notification
8.1 Winners will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact details provided at entry.
8.2 If a winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts within three (3) months of the draw date, the prize will be deemed unclaimed.
8.3 The final date to claim any prize is 5 August 2026.
9. Unclaimed Prizes
9.1 Any prize not claimed by 5 August 2026 will be redrawn.
9.2 The redraw will be conducted under the same conditions as the original draw and under Police supervision.
9.3 The redraw winner will have three (3) months from the redraw date to claim the prize.
10. Publicity
10.1 By accepting a prize, winners consent to the Promoter using their name, image, and general location for publicity purposes without additional compensation.
10.2 Results may be published in the New Zealand Herald and via the Promoter’s website, email communications, and social media channels.
11. Privacy
11.1 Personal information is collected for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and contacting winners.
11.2 By entering, entrants consent to receiving future communications from the Promoter. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.
11.3 Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available on request).
11.4 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter.
12. Delivery
12.1 Prizes will be delivered within New Zealand.
12.2 Delivery outside New Zealand may be arranged by mutual agreement, with any additional costs borne by the winner.
13. Liability
13.1 Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with the Promotion or any prize.
13.2 Winners accept prizes at their own risk.
14. Force Majeure
If the Promotion or any prize is affected by events beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control (including supply chain disruption, regulatory changes, natural disasters, or acts of God), the Promoter may make reasonable modifications necessary to comply with applicable laws or ensure fair conduct of the Promotion.
15. Governing Law
This Promotion is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
